Our service offers training for you the operator, or a responsible person you delegate, to enable your business to implement the following:
1. Compliance with and analysis of driver’s hours, tachograph rules and working time.
2. Robust record keeping systems.
3. Operator licence undertaking compliance.
4. Driver walk round checks.
5. Driver defect reporting system.
6. Preventative maintenance inspections (PMI’s) and forward planning.
7. Quality assurance checks.
Once training is complete one of our transport consultants will monitor performance,
advising where necessary, initially on a monthly basis then tailing off where it
is envisaged that within a 12 month period you will be fully conversant in all aspects
of the above responsibilities, keeping them in-
As an operator you will have robust systems in place which will stand up to the most vigorous tests, ensuring your operator licence undertakings are complied with to safeguard your operator licence. Our systems will look to promote your company towards “green” on the operator compliance risk score for both maintenance and drivers hours, allowing VOSA to concentrate their efforts on the less compliant operators and letting you go about your business with the minimum of inconvenience and reducing the likely hood of any negative interest from VOSA or the Traffic Commissioner.
